Rates has dropped quite a bit recently despite FED's new rate hike. What is the reason?

Recently the mid-term ARMs has become more popular due to relative low rate and longer secured rate. Many people are looking into 7 yr ARM or 10 yr ARM. Some lenders are offering these products at the same rate as 5 yr ARM. Why not get the extra!
